Prior to joining The Chertoff Group, Ms. Ivanauskas worked as a research intern for Public International Law and Policy Group providing in-depth research and analysis on legal and policy issues concerning Syria and Yemen. She has additional experience with the Information Security Oversight Office as a national security intern and on Capitol Hill as a legislative intern for a Maryland Congressman. She has also conducted research on international security and development issues at the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research and with Esperanza International, a Dominican microfinance firm.
Ms. Ivanauskas graduated cum laude in 2015 from Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service in International Politics with a concentration in International Security. She was a member of the Delta Phi Epsilon Professional Foreign Service Sorority and coordinated events for the Center for Student Engagement.
