Jacqueline Sutherland is a Senior Analyst at The Chertoff Group, where she draws upon her international work experience in counterterrorism to support the Security Services line of business.

Prior to joining The Chertoff Group, Ms. Sutherland served as a Counterterrorism Fellow at the Asia-Pacific Foundation, a London-based international policy assessment group. In this role, she consulted as a counterterrorism expert on international radio and broadcast news and authored numerous reports in the wake of terrorist attacks to brief high-ranking officials in government, the military and law enforcement. Ms. Sutherland also served as a core committee member to the Partnership for Peace Consortium's Combating Terrorism Working Group through the George C. Marshall Center in Garmisch, Germany, where she helped stimulate innovative solutions to problems related to terrorism and foreign fighters through the planning and execution of an annual, international conference.

Ms. Sutherland holds a Master of Science (MSc) with highest honors (Distinction) in the History of International Relations from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with Phi Beta Kappa honors from Wake Forest University, where she served as the President of the Student Body.
