Christian Healion is an Associate in The Chertoff Group’s Strategic Advisory Services practice where he helps companies navigate a range of geopolitical, physical, and cybersecurity threats.
He works with clients to strengthen their operations against current and emerging threats, pursue new business opportunities in public and private markets, and understand how geopolitical developments shape business strategies. He primarily works with companies in the defense, homeland security, technology, and critical infrastructure industries.
Prior to joining The Chertoff Group, Christian was a Research Intern at the Center for Strategic and International Studies where he contributed to a report on Congress and U.S. foreign policy. Additionally, he was a Research Assistant at the National Defense University where he conducted research for papers detailing the operations of transnational criminal organizations in the Western Hemisphere.

- Led the drafting of an after-action report for a critical infrastructure trade association reviewing the industry response to COVID-19
- Aided a European defense and aerospace company examine opportunities in U.S. and NATO defense markets and created a business strategy for future growth in those markets
- Helped a leading U.S. defense contractor explore growth opportunities in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for domain awareness sensors and related capabilities
