Lieutenant General Stephen “Steph” Twitty (U.S. Army Ret.)

General Twitty supports clients across the military, federal, and commercial sectors in identifying and engaging in new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and improved organizational and financial performance. He draws on his deep expertise in Army and Joint programs as well as U.S., NATO, and partner nation security strategy.

General Twitty served a 36-year U.S. Army career. In his final assignment, General Twitty served as the Deputy Commander of United States European Command (USEUCOM), where he led day-to-day strategic planning, coordination, integration, and execution of all U.S. military air, naval, and land multi-domain operations on the European continent in support of U.S. national defense strategy and NATO. Previously, he commanded the 1st U.S. Army at Rock Island, Illinois. Earlier, he commanded the First Armored Division and Fort Bliss.

General Twitty’s previous assignments included serving as Deputy Chief of Staff, Operations, Plans, Training, and Readiness (G-3/5/7), U.S. Army Forces Command (FORSCOM), where he implemented Army Total Force Policy in partnership with Army Reserve and Army National Guard leadership to achieve Department of the Army-directed readiness requirements. He also previously served as the Executive Officer to the Deputy Commanding General of U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) and as Chief of Staff, U.S. Army Central, Operation Iraqi Freedom. General Twitty served five combat tours to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kuwait, and was awarded the Silver Star Medal for his gallantry in combat in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
