Former Deputy National Security Advisor Ricardel weighs in on Semiconductor Chip Production Strategy

Mira Ricardel tells Barron’s Craig Mellow that “Japan is expected to be a cooperative partner,” in his piece titled “U.S. Wants Allies to Squeeze China on Chips. Progress is Slow.”  In addition to ramping up manufacturing at home, the U.S. is working to strengthen semiconductor supply chain relationships with allies given export controls placed on China last fall.
