Robert (Bob) Pocica is a Senior Advisor to The Chertoff Group. Mr. Pocica brings expertise in aviation matters including private and corporate flight department operations, assessments and management, aviation safety programs and audits and the sale and acquisition of aircraft to The Chertoff Group. Previously, Mr. Pocica served as senior vice president and chief security officer at McKesson, where he was responsible for the security and safety of McKesson’s people, product and property. Leveraging cutting-edge technology, he implemented incident tracking and case management systems to ensure the safety and security of the workforce. Before McKesson, Pocica served as senior director of global security programs at Pfizer Pharmaceutical. At Pfizer, Pocica was responsible for the development and implementation of policies, procedures and training programs for the global security department. He also supported and coordinated global investigations and served as deputy to the vice president, providing oversight and coordination of the global security group.
Pocica began his career at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), where he spent nearly 23 years serving as a special agent. While at the FBI, Pocica was assigned to several field offices working various criminal investigations. He also worked in several FBI headquarters components in managerial roles. At The Chertoff Group, Mr. Pocica advises C-suite clients on strategies to help them grow, manage security threats and protect their commercial enterprises.
An alumnus of Stetson University, Pocica received his bachelor of business administration degree in 1975. He also holds a master of public administration degree from the University of Southern California. Pocica was elected to the Stetson University Board of Trustees in May 2014.
