About Larry
Larry Lundeen is a former member of the U.S. Secret Service and corporate security leader who spent more than 20 years at Walmart, most recently as Senior Vice President and Chief Security Officer, where he served as the responsible executive for security risk management across Walmart’s Global Enterprise. He reinvigorated and helped centralize Walmart’s approach to international security, and he envisioned, championed, and launched Walmart’s inaugural Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). Larry also developed novel, industry-leading protection procedures and technology for both corporate and retail environments. He previously served as a Special Agent with the U.S. Secret Service, including on the Vice President’s protective detail, and as an Assistant Federal Security Director with the U.S. Transportation Security Administration. At The Chertoff Group, Larry supports Security Risk & Resilience engagements, advising leading global organizations on complex risk management topics.
