WASHINGTON, DC. – The Chertoff Group, a premier global advisory firm, will host“Time for a Refresh: Technology & Policy in the Age of Innovation” as part of The Chertoff Group Security Series on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at the Four Seasons Hotel in East Palo Alto, CA.

The event will open with a keynote discussion between Brad Smith, Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Microsoft, and Michael Chertoff, Executive Chairman of The Chertoff Group.  We are pleased to have additional insightful speakers representing innovative companies, industry and the government perspective including: GitHub, Box, Federal Trade Commission, Linux Foundation and Sprint Corporation.

The Chertoff Group Security Series provides technology, business and security leaders and managers with an insightful platform for serious discussion around today’s most challenging security concerns, what is needed to effectively mitigate these risks and where policy can play a role across public and private sectors. This upcoming event will feature an active and informed discussion around new challenges and key decisions at the intersect of technology, policy and innovation.  Through insightful keynotes and comprehensive panel discussions, participants will hear different points of view relating to security, privacy, data protection, emerging threats and technologies, and how the government and private sector can come together to achieve common goals.
