How likely is a U.S. ban on TikTok, the popular video sharing app owned by  Beijings ByteDance? In this Wired story by reporter Paresh Dave, Mira Ricardel, who advises clients on Geopolitical Risk and regulatory issues, says it is likely that we will see some form of limitations this year. There is bipartisan support to move against TikTok, to respond to national security concernsincluding the collection and transmission of data about Americans by China. Will it be a broad or narrow approach? There are multiple pieces of legislation in the works on Capitol Hill.
