Natalie Lehr-Lopez is a national security executive who works at the intersection of hybrid threats, digital supply chains and critical infrastructure resilience. Drawing on more than 20 years across the U.S. Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, federal law enforcement and the private sector, she has led efforts to translate complex intelligence about foreign interference, supply chain compromise and gray-zone pressure into decision-ready options for senior policymakers and critical infrastructure operators.
As the inaugural Executive Director of the Intelligence Community’s Supply Chain and Counterintelligence Risk Management Task Force, Natalie led a whole-of-government initiative that integrated counterintelligence, technical vulnerability analysis and procurement data to identify and mitigate supplier-driven risks to high impact, national-level systems. This work earned formal recognition from the White House and the National Cyber Director for advancing more rigorous, transparent and operationally useful intelligence-to-policy pathways.
Her work centers on improving visibility and decision making in contested information environments. She has designed and led structured analytic and red-teaming processes that stress-test assumptions and surface the second- and third-order effects of near-peer competition, cyber operations and supply chain leverage. Working with industry and allied partners, she has prototyped analytic approaches and AI tools that support expert judgment during high-tempo crises and gray-zone scenarios.
Natalie bridges the intelligence, policy and implementation communities. She has co-developed public-private engagement models that let critical infrastructure owners and technology suppliers act on sensitive threat information while protecting sources and methods. She has participated in and led strategic exchanges with allied governments and research institutes on hybrid threats, resilience and democratic defense.
In parallel, Natalie serves as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies, where she teaches graduate courses on digital supply chain risk management, geopolitical threat analysis, and policy-relevant research and writing.
